

Za’atar Sesame Crusted Squash
Description
- 2 small squashes
- 1/3 cup sesame seeds
- 3 tablespoons za’atar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
- olive oil or avocado oil spray
Ingredients
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and prepare a baking tray with foil or spread it with oil so the squash doesn’t stick
- Cut the squash into 1/4-inch thick rings or wedges
- Mix tother the sesame seeds, za’atar, salt, and pepper into a shallow dish.
- Spray or dip each squash piece on each side with oil then firmly press into the za’atar mix on both sides.
- Arrange the squash pieces onto the baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes or until the squash is tender on the inside and crispy on the outside and enjoy!
