Whipped Feta

Whipped Feta is a blend of creamy feta, greek yogurt, and a combination of flavorful ingredients such as zesty lemon, sweet floral honey, herbaceous za’atar, spicy red pepper flakes, and fruity extra virgin olive oil that couldn’t be easier to make but also elevate your meals.

Ingredients for Whipped Feta

  1. Feta in Brine: Start with an 8oz block of feta submerged in brine, ensuring the highest quality.
  2. Whole Milk Greek Yogurt: Enhance the creaminess, add a touch of tanginess, and is full of protein.
  3. Liquid Gold – Extra Virgin Olive Oil: Adds a rich and luscious texture plus a fruity peppery flavor
  4. Honey: The floral subtle sweetness pairs so well with the savory feta.
  5. Za’atar: a Middle Eastern spice blend that adds depth and complexity.
  6. Lemon Zest: Brings a vibrant and fresh zing to the whipped feta.
  7. Red Pepper Flakes: Add a big pinch of red pepper flakes for a hint of spice and kick.
  8. Optional Garlic Infusion: For garlic lovers include a clove for an extra layer of aromatic intensity.
  9. Loose and Luscious: If desired, add 1/4 cup of milk or water to keep the whipped feta loose and creamy even after refrigerating.

Customize Your Whipped Feta Experience: Top with a drizzle of olive oil, a swirl of honey, or a sprinkle of toasted nuts such as pistachios, walnuts, or pine nuts. For a burst of freshness, garnish with mint, pomegranate arils, or olives.
