Orange Cherry Almond Protein Bars


Units Scale
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 2 scoops protein (I used sprout living , CAROLINE20 saves 20%)
  • 1/4 cup almonds, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons hemp seeds
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened dried cherries, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 cup natural almond butter, unsalted
  • 1/2 cup brown rice syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 orange, zested


  1. In a large bowl combine the dry ingredients, oats, protein, almonds, hemp seeds, and cherries.
  2. In a small saucepan over low heat combine the almond butter and brown rice syrup or honey. Stir constantly until tiny bubbles start to form and the mixture has heated up and become more melted/liquidy.
  3. Off heat, stir in the vanilla and orange zest then pour the liquid mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients.
  4. Stir quickly, as the mixture hardens fast, and press evenly into a parchment-lined 9×9 baking pan.
  5. Place in the fridge for at least an hour, then they are ready to cut into about 8-10 bars
