

Lemon Sumac Yogurt Chicken

Marinade
- 1 cup plain greek yogurt, whole milk
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon sumac
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 lemon, zest, and juice
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon each salt and pepper
2-3 Chicken Breasts or (2 lbs for no leftover marinade)
Instructions
- In a small container mix together the marinade
- Add half to 2-3 chicken breasts and let marinade in the fridge for 3-4 hours.
- Once it’s finished marinating, bring the chicken out of the fridge to come closer to room temperature for about 30 minutes
- Preheat a large non-stick pan or grill and cook the chicken on each side for 6-8 minutes or until fully cooked on the inside.
- Let it rest for about 3-5 minutes before cutting
