Feta Oregano Turkey Meatballs

Feta Oregano Turkey Meatballs


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 large egg, at room temperature
  • 2 oz. feta, large crumbles
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon each salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl mix together all the ingredients but the feta till well combined.
  2. Next, add in the feta making sure not to break it down too much so that large hunks remain.
  3. Roll the mixture into meatballs and place onto a baking tray to bake in the oven at 350 F for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Alternatively, you could also sauté the meatballs in a large skillet over medium heat, cooking all the sides for 5-6 minutes on each side.
