Creamy Spiced Lentil Sauce/Dip


Ingredients

  • 1 garlic cloves
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cup yellow lentils, cooked
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/4 teaspoon sumac
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/4 cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/3 cup water blend (or more depending on your desired consistency)

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender and process until smooth, reaching desired consistency.
  2. .Store in an airtight container for up to a week in the fridge
  3. Use as a dip for veggies, fries, or chips. Or add water for a thin consistency and use it as a salad dressing, over grains or pasta, on top of vegetables and protein, etc…
