Baklava Rice Crispy Treat


Units Scale
  • 3 cups brown rice crisps
  • 1/2 cup toasted walnuts, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup toasted pistachios, finely chopped
  • 1 orange, zested
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon clove
  • big pinch salt
  • 3/4 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup honey


  1. In a large bowl toss together everything but the honey and tahini
  2. In a microwave-safe glass bowl combine the tahini and honey and heat for 15-30 seconds until it’s warm and drippy.
  3. Quickly combine the tahini mixture with the rice crisps mixture and press it into 9×9 pan lined with parchment allowing it to overlay on the sides.
  4. Place the pan in the fridge, for 2-3 hours, cut into diamonds and enjoy! πŸ™‚
  5. Store in the fridge for 1-2 weeks!
