Baharat Grilled Figs and Plums with Rose Goat Cheese

PLUMS & FIGS
- 10–15 ripe fresh figs, halved
- 4–5 rip plums, halved and pits removed
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon bahart spice
ROSE GOAT CHEESE
- 4 oz chevre log, room temperature
- 1 tablespoon rose water
- 10 rose petals (optional)
- 2 teaspoons honey
- pinch salt
Instructions
- Preheat the grill, grill pan, or skillet to medium
- In a large bowl toss the fruit with the oil and spices then place flesh side down on the preheated grill
- Sear the fruit for 5-6 minutes before flipping to the skin side for another 3-4 minutes or until softened
- While cooking the fruit, whip together the goat cheese, rose water, honey, and salt until smooth. Lastly, fold in the rose petals
- Plate the grilled fruit with the dollops of goat cheese and enjoy
